Falcor Snowboard Bindings

A traditional snowboard baseplate is made of a single layer with the same material and stiffness throughout. Union’s new 2 Layer baseplate construction has two individual layers: the Core [1] and the Frame [2]. Each layer has the possibility of using a unique material and stiffness to achieve the desired ride feel of the binding.

This new material is attributed with a remarkable 90% of sustainable raw materials, based on a mass balance approach. In addition to being more sustainable than traditional plastics, this material has passed all of Union’s in-house quality control tests for strength, durability in cold temperatures and product lifecycle.
