Twin Tips, as their name suggests, are identical in both the tip and tail. The stance reference position is centred in the middle of the board, creating a fully balanced snowboard. Twins perform the same both forwards and backwards. The balanced shape gives the rider more control when spinning.

Blunting the tips of a board removes excess weight from the extremities. This reduced weight lowers the board's swing weight, giving more control when spinning and helps keep the edge engaged through the carve
