Directional Twins feature the same overall shape as a twin; however, they differ from the twins by setting the stance position back on the board. By slightly increasing volume at the nose, you improve performance in deep snow, uneven terrain, and on the piste without compromising balance.

Four separate geometries combine to create a sidecut arc specific to the board's flex and performance. Quadratic sidecuts respond better to more demanding riders; the more you push the board, the more the sidecut engages, giving a more aggressive turning performance.

Blunting the tips of a board removes excess weight from the extremities. This reduced weight lowers the board's swing weight, giving more control when spinning and helps keep the edge engaged through the carve.
