Directional
Directional boards are designed to travel forward. The Shape differs from front to rear, whilst the flex, sidecut and stance are setback from the centre. Directional boards have a longer nose and shorter tail; this increases lift and float. The setback stance and flex enhance carving performance.

Taper
Taper is where the nose of the board is wider than the tail. Taper has two main benefits. Firstly and most importantly, it allows the tail to sink in deep snow, making powder riding easy. Secondly it makes turn exit smooth as the sidecut fades out at the narrow tail.

Blunt Tips
Blunting the tips of a board removes excess weight from the extremities. This reduced weight lowers the board's swing weight, giving more control when spinning and helps keep the edge engaged through the carve.

Swallow Tail
Swallow Tail splits the board's tail into two sections with a gap between them. This gap helps sink the tail of the board in deep snow by releasing the pressure of the snow so it has little float, allowing the nose to rise. It can also whip out the back of the turn, as the forks deflect more than a traditional tail shape.

3BT
Torsional twist tries to disengage the contact points when a board turns, forcing you to move your body weight to keep them engaged. 3BT’s flat centre base and side base upturns at the tip and tail cancel this out, keeping the contact points fully engaged. This engagement means you can ride with less effort and no performance loss. 3BT also improves float and reduces the likelihood of catching an edge.

Side Kicks
Side Kicks are an additional upturn at the contact points of 3BT Snowboard. Sidekicks engage the snow before the sidecut engages, giving the board a super-fast turn initiation and exit and creating a dynamic riding experience.
