Welcome to the new snowboard clothing line up at TSA. We take clothing seriously here because the wrong jacket, cheap pants, cotton base layers... any of these could ruin your day on the mountain and it doesn’t matter how much you’ve spent on a shiny new hardware set-up, if your clothing sucks, so will your snowboarding day!

Yeah, you’ve got to have the look but think a bit when shopping for your clothing. Make sure you buy good wicking base layers (no cotton tshirts). Look for outerwear with a minimum 5,000mm water repellency and 5,000g/m2/24hr breathability performance rating and at least critically sealed seams (fully sealed seams are better). You’ll see these performance ratings described in our catalogue text as, for instance, 10k/10k.
Remember that in fabric technology, waterproof is easy, breathable is easy but waterproof & breathable is difficult and the highest performing fabrics cost. GORE-TEX is the industry’s finest performance fabric and if you spend a lot of time riding deep snow in variable and wet conditions and hike in the backcountry a lot (or if wet Scottish resorts are your thing!) then you need GORE-TEX fabric or a fabric with a high (10k/10k plus) waterproof/breathable rating. If your aspirations are less extreme and you rock the resorts a couple of times a season and play on the pistes and lift accessible off piste, then you can rely on any of the clothing in our range to deliver the performance and looks that you’ll want.
Remember, all the outerwear we sell is built for riding, we don’t sell fluffy looky-likey fashion so you can buy your stuff at TSA with confidence.
